G- string

January 12, 2015 by admin Leave a Comment

G-string
A G-string consists of a triangular part of some sort of fabric at the front and a thin strip of cloth that goes all the way around back. The strip is connected to a band that goes around the hips. The G-string is between the buttocks – this kind of lingerie exposes the butt cheeks.
Since the 1920s, this type of lingerie was worn mostly by female strippers and exotic dancers but in the 1970s, they became mainstream – it just at that period when G-strings also became a popular choice of swimwear in South America, especially in Brazil. It took even longer – until the 1990s for this type of lingerie to become popular and acceptable in the United States, and during the recent years, it became a popular and commonly-used type of intimate wear for both men and women in many different countries and areas.

V-String
As the name might suggest, this type of G-string has a V shape from the back. Compared to G-strings, V versions are easier to move in and more comfortable thanks to a split piece of elastic attached to the waistband. And the shape of a V-string keeps the waistband from shifting.

T-Back
When viewed from the back, this type of lingerie forms a “T” shape (d’uh). This is one of the most popular to wear at the beach for women since they consist of waistbands tying at each hip. When worn with low-rise jeans, they also make a bold fashion statement that is yet to have gone unnoticed.

C-String
A C-string type of lingerie is essentially a strapless G-string. It has no waistband and consists only of a piece of fabric that covers the woman’s genitals and a thin strip that goes in between the buttocks. However, despite having such an unusual construction, C-string does not fall because of a flexible internal place keeping it in place. This type of lingerie is used to eliminate panty lines when tanning – a C-string makes it possible.

Chip G-String
The difference between a casual G-string and this variation is a smaller and a more low-cut front part a chip G-string offers. Chip G-strings give a more sensual, sexy and seductive look when worn as a lingerie.

Micro G-String
This is the choice of the adventurous – can be worn as swimwear but mostly used for lingerie – the micro G-string is probably the smallest G-string the market has to offer. And it easy to see why – going any smaller is nearing a physical impossibility.

Tanga
This variation of a G-string provides a bigger amount of coverage compared to the classical version. It is a great gateway lingerie option for those who are looking for a change from casual bikini bottoms to some slightly skimpier undergarments. Tangas provide a fair amount of front coverage and they expose the lower half of the butt cheeks, sitting a good part above the buttocks. Strings of the tangas can be thick strips or fabric, as well as the string waistbands, found in regular G-strings.
