Read on to find out if bra fitting problems are not haunting you too.
We all know that perfectly fitting bra is not only comfortable but also raises its owner’s self confidence. It seems that it shouldn’t be too difficult to find such bra. There are certain methods to measure bra size, and bunch of advice on internet. Many women have their beloved and most comfortable bra which is worn for years. Ladies could just take a glance at its label, and know what to look for. But no matter how much help do women have they still have bra fitting problems.
First problem is, of course, wrong cup size. There are women, who wear bras with too small or too big cups. Most of them don’t see the problem here! Those wearing too big cups think that no one will notice a gap between a breast and a cup. They’re happy to know that their breasts seem bigger and do not feel any pressure. But actually too big bra cup is visible. Especially, when the owner wears tops with bigger necklines. The bra outline is well-seen, and the breasts… Well, they are gone, hidden in the depths of a too big bra. Don’t forget, that only properly fitting bra lifts your breasts attractively. That’s how they look bigger, fuller, nicely shaped. Don’t forget that, next time choosing a bra.
Now those who wear bras with too small cups – listen carefully. Your conviction that too small cup makes your bust look smaller is wrong. What does undersized cup actually do? It compresses your breasts, leaves red lines, and causes pain. All in all we have inaesthetic view, because bra cuts into breasts in front or at the sides, and causes really unattractive overlap. You must remember that only the proper size bra can make your bust look nicely shaped. If you want smaller breasts you should try minimizer bra. It will make your bust seem up to one size smaller and won’t cause all the mentioned problems.
Second problem is poorly adjusted straps. They might be too loose and keep slipping off. In this case, the bra will not hold your breasts properly. The straps must be quite tight, but not too much. On the other hand, if you tighten bra straps too much you’ll get red dents and shoulders ache at the end of a day. In order to adjust bra straps properly, slip your finger under a strap: it should be neither too tight to cut into your finger, nor too loose to fall off.
The last problem is incorrect bra band size. It does not occur too often since most brands use the same measurement system for band size. Yet some women do not know their chest measurement as it may change during their lifetime. Too small band leads to a constant feeling of compression, restricted movement and pain. Too tight bra band cuts into skin and leaves painful dents; which is unhealthy. If you feel pressure of bra band on your back, you should try another bra, with larger band number. Too long band leads to flappy breasts because it slides up while the cups holding breasts move downward. An unfitted-band bra is uncomfortable and looks bad. Some girls think that it’s better to buy bigger clothes and lingerie simply because of the changing figure. But one should not forget about bra band extensions that may help to fix the changed band size later.
Now, when you’ve read about most common bra fitting problems, you might have remembered, that at least one of these problems have occurred to you as well. So next time while trying on a new bra, mind its three main parts (cups, band and straps), follow our advice, and forget about all bra fitting problems.
